River Rat!

There's no better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than going to the river! It was a beautiful day and time to get out on the water! Maddie was pretty excited about the whole thing! Despite losing the ONLY pacifier we brought with us in the water she had a great time!

We made a quick stop by the sandbar to take a break. Maddie loved playing in the sand!

Next, it was time to bring out the old skis! This was my first time skiing in almost 3 years and guess what......Mama's still got it! Although, I was extremely sore for about 3 days it was so much fun to finally put that ski back on.

Daddy skied too! He did get up but between holding Maddie, the juice cup, pacifier, and the camera, I was unable to snap a picture of him actually skiing! Maybe next time!

Then, Maddie got the privilege of driving the boat with Pop!

She was more interested in blowing the horn than driving the boat!

What a precious moment!

Go Bama!

We are so excited about the start of another great season of Alabama Football! A couple of weeks ago we enjoyed watching the game at Nana and Pop's house with a few of our friends!

Catching you up on......

this SASSY thing! Yes, I said sassy! Our little princess is just a couple days away from being 17 months old. Can you believe it? We can't. Maddie is becoming her own little person more and more each day. We have been very busy lately. Josh has started nursing school and I have given up my nice summer days at home with Maddie and returned back to work myself. I apologize for the lack of posting but I am here to catch you up! We have had a wonderful Labor Day weekend and here are a few pictures to share!

Maddie decided she was ready to sit at the table like a big girl and eat her snack. So she ran into the kitchen, climbed up on the chair by herself, and then pointed to the refrigerator and said "eat" in her precious little voice. I guess you could say she rules our household and whatever she says goes!

Later that night we joined all of our friends in watching the Alabama game. Maddie was ready in her little cheerleading outfit. It was really funny for me to see my little girl in a cheerleading uniform. It definitely brought on a few flashbacks! The picture above is Mollie teaching Maddie how to jump on the trampoline for the first time!

Precious!

This is her new "I don't know" pose!

After church today we joined our friends, Nathan and April, for lunch......

and Maddie decided to be SASSY!! :)

Check out those curls!!!

She was NOT excited about this picture.....

so Daddy had to step in!

Later we decided to enjoy the afternoon outside!

We love sidewalk chalk!!

...and the sprinkler!!!

Happy Labor Day Weekend!!!
